Project AWARE Foundation    

     - In partnership with scuba divers and water enthusiasts, Project AWARE offices

       located in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Switzerland and Japan

       combine efforts to conserve aquatic resources / underwater environments, 

       through education, advocacy and action, in more than 180 countries and

       territories of the world.       

Census of Marine Life

     - The Census of Marine Life is a global network of researchers in more than 80

        nations engaged in a 10-year scientific initiative to assess and explain the

        diversity, distribution, and abundance of life in the oceans. The world's first

        comprehensive Census of Marine Life - past, present, and future - will be

        released in 2010.

Earth Dive

     - Earth Dive is a global research project for scuba divers who can help preserve

       the health and diversity of our oceans (its concept is "citizen science")  - which

       has been developed in partnership with the United Nations Environment

       Programme - World Conservation Monitoring Centre UNEP-WCMC and marine

       biologists from all over the world.  

Marine Bio

     - Marine Bio is a registered nonprofit organization. It's an evolving tribute to

       all ocean life and has been a central source of the latest information

       concerning marine biology and marine conservation online since 1998.

Marine Photobank

     - The Marine Photobank is a leading visual resource that has galvanized people

       from all over the planet to share marine photos that shed light on how humans

       have affected life in the ocean. Founded in response to a lack of high quality

       underwater and above water ocean conservation images. These images are

       available at no cost for non-commercial purposes as well as for media use.

TOPP

    -TOPP: Tagging of Pacific Predators began in 2000 as one of 17 projects of the

     Census of Marine Life, an ambitious 10-year, 80-nation endeavor to assess and

     explain the diversity and abundance of life in the oceans, and where that life has

     lived, is living, and will live.
